Raducanu concedes she must 'get head in the game' before Wimbledon
Emma Raducanu conceded that she must "get her head in the game" ahead of Wimbledon after her early exit at Eastbourne.
Raducanu was dumped out of the competition by Maya Joint on Wednesday, with the Australian youngster emerging a 4-6 6-1 7-6 (7-4) victor.
The British number one rallied from 5-2 down in the deciding set to force a tie-break, but could not continue her momentum and complete another comeback.
The match was decided by the finest of margins, with Joint converting seven of the 10 break points she created herself to Raducanu's six from 14 attempts.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't get over the line today, but I can get some rest ahead of next week," Raducanu said after her match.

The penultimate major of the season starts on June 30, and Raducanu will be hopeful of putting on a strong performance at Wimbledon.
Her best finish at the All England Club came in 2021 and 2024, where she reached the fourth round of the competition.
It leaves the 22-year-old with a tight turnaround before the start of the tournament, with her preparations being far from ideal thus far.
On Tuesday, she revealed that she had received "some really bad news" which knocked her mentally, but she is aiming to rest over the next couple of days.
"I feel quite tired. Just going through some stuff and I need to do my best to get my head in the game ahead of next week," Raducanu added.
"Realistically, the turnaround is pretty soon - it's only four days away really that Wimbledon starts.
"I think I'm just going to start with [a day off] tomorrow and then hopefully I can get on the court on Friday."
