Pulisic backed as Salah replacement by Liverpool legend Fowler
Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes the club should consider Christian Pulisic as Mohamed Salah's replacement this summer.
After nine seasons with Liverpool, Salah leaves the Reds as a free agent this summer having scored 257 goals and provided 120 assists in 442 appearances.
The winger won two Premier League titles and the Champions League during his time on Merseyside, among other silverware, leaving Liverpool with the difficult task of finding a replacement.
Pulisic has previous Premier League experience after representing Chelsea for four seasons, scoring 20 goals and registering nine assists in 98 English top-flight games.
The American winger also won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021 before leaving for AC Milan in 2023.
Fowler wrote on his X account: "Plenty of rumours about as to who’s going to Liverpool, one name I’ve not seen mentioned is Pulisic.
Plenty of rumours about as to who's going to @LFC , one name I've not seen mentioned is pulisic... good age , played in the prem, exciting player , I'd take him, potentially a Salah type of pathway, thoughts?

Pulisic has made 134 appearances for Milan, directly contributing to 66 goals (42 goals, 24 assists) across all competitions.
Since his arrival in Italy, only Lautaro Martinez (65) and Marcus Thuram (57) have directly contributed to more Serie A goals than Pulisic (52).
