Pant returns to India squad for Test series against South Africa
Rishabh Pant has been named in India's squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa, which begins on November 14.
Pant missed India's last red-ball series against the West Indies in October with a foot fracture that he suffered during the fourth Test of India's tour of England in July.
He was then ruled out for the remainder of the series and recently completed his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
Second-keeper Dhruv Jurel took Pant's place behind the stumps for the series against the Windies, which India comfortably won 2-0.
After completing his recovery, Pant returned to action for India A last week, captaining them to victory over South Africa A in a four-day tour match in Bengaluru.
The wicket-keeper batter scored 90 runs in the second innings to set up a clinical chase for India A.
