Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is determined to "take the trophies home" as the Gunners edge closer to winning a Premier League and Champions League double.

Mikel Arteta's side defeated Burnley 1-0 on Monday, meaning victory on the final day of the season against Crystal Palace would guarantee Arsenal their first league title in 22 years.

They could also be crowned champions if Manchester City drop points at Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Arsenal are also looking to win their first-ever Champions League title when they face Paris Saint-Germain on May 30.

Odegaard insisted he and his Arsenal team-mates will give everything to end the season with two major trophies.

"I am really proud. It has been an amazing season so far," said Odegaard when he addressed the Emirates Stadium crowd on Monday.

"We have one big one left and then the Champions League final and we want to take the trophies home.

"I can promise you all that we will give everything we have, and keep going until the very end and with your support we are going to be ready."

Arsenal have won 25+ Premier League games in three of the last four seasons (26 in 2022-23, 28 in 2023-24, 25 in 2025-26), with Arteta achieving this feat as often as Arsene Wenger did (26 in 2001-02, 26 in 2003-04, 25 in 2004-05).

The Gunners have also won eight Premier League matches 1-0 this season, their second most in a season behind their nine 1-0 wins in 1998-99.

Arsenal have kept 32 clean sheets this season, six more than any other side in Europe’s top-five leagues in all competitions. Only in 1970-71 (37) and 1979-80 (33) have they had more in a single season.
