Norris wants to put 'a couple of little mistakes' behind him at Spanish Grand Prix
Lando Norris conceded "a couple of little mistakes" were the difference as he narrowly missed out on pole at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Briton looked set to start at the front of the grid for the second Grand Prix in succession, following his triumph in Monaco last weekend.
Norris – aided after gaining a tow from Championship leader Piastri – had been 0.017 seconds faster than his fellow McLaren during the first runs of the third qualifying session.
However, Piastri produced a superb final lap to snatch his fourth pole of the season by 0.209 seconds.
That ensured another McLaren one-two this term, but Norris does not expect a potential individual battle to develop at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday.
One to watch!

"Hopefully not. Hopefully, it's just an easy race for me," he said.
"I expect it. It’s a long run down to Turn 1. Normally, it's interesting, and we've got a lot of quick guys behind us, so we won't count them out. A good result for today, I'm happy.
"Oscar drove very well. I think the pace is definitely there, just a couple of little mistakes.
"Oscar was driving well all weekend, so a good result for the team, a nice one-two and an interesting start for tomorrow."
Lewis Hamilton had to settle for fifth on the grid, and the Ferrari driver agreed that McLaren seem "untouchable" at the moment.
He said: "Yeah, yeah. It's an amazing job they've done. [To] me, it's half a second, but to the guys in front, it is three-tenths.
"It's not an insurmountable amount that you could catch up, but, for example, a lot of work, months, went into developing and getting a tenth of performance.
"We don't have half a second coming, that's for sure, which is what I would need to topple them."
