Newly promoted Crystal Palace sign WSL goal machine England
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Bethany England on a free transfer.
England left Tottenham at the end of the 2025-26 season, departing as Spurs' all-time leading scorer in the Women's Super League, with 32 goals.
The striker, who has signed a two-year deal at Palace, is the second-highest goalscorer in WSL history, having netted 89 goals in 202 games in the competition.
Only Vivianne Miedema (97 goals in 136 games) has scored more times in the WSL than England.
"It feels great to sign for Crystal Palace. I'm very excited to be here, and looking forward to meeting all the girls and getting started," said the 32-year-old.
"Palace are an ambitious club. They've been in the WSL before, they've had two amazing promotions now, and I think you can see their investment in the women's game.

"They're really pushing to want to be amongst the best, and they’ve got amazing facilities.
"It's a place where I hope that I can make a lot of good memories, score a lot of goals, and make some good history for the football club."
England joins a Palace team that finished second in the WSL2 last term, gaining promotion back to the top flight on the final day of the season.
Palace boss Jo Potter said: "We are absolutely delighted to have Bethany here at Palace. She has scored goals wherever she has gone, and I am sure she will be crucial for us."
