The top-seeded Minnesota Lynx took home two WNBA honours on Monday, as point guard Olivia Miles was unanimously named Rookie of the Year and Cheryl Reeve added to her league record with a fifth Coach of the Year Award.

Miles set a WNBA record for points by a rookie in a season with 790 to overtake Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, who scored 769 points during her 2024 Rookie of the Year campaign.

Miles started in all 40 of her games after being the second overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft and averaged 19.8 points, six assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31 minutes.

She also set a WNBA rookie record by scoring at least 20 points in 22 games, passing former Lynx top overall pick Seimone Augustus (20 in 2006).

Reeve led Minnesota (33-11) to the No. 1 seed in the play-offs this season, though the Lynx will be facing elimination on Tuesday after the New York Liberty won Game 1 of their best-of-three first-round series Sunday.

She was also WNBA Coach of the Year in 2011, 2016, 2020 and 2024, and finished this season as the league’s all-time leader in regular-season wins with 397.

Reeve has coached the Lynx to a WNBA record-tying four championships (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017).
