Ireland's O'Mahony returns for Scotland clash
Ireland have made two changes to their starting XV for Sunday's Six Nations clash with Scotland, with Peter O'Mahony and Robbie Henshaw coming in.
O'Mahony was not included in the matchday squad for last week's 27-22 win over England and is given his first start since last year's tour of South Africa.
The 35-year-old, who was limited to appearances from the bench in November due to a hamstring injury, captained Ireland to last year's Six Nations title and will make his 111th Test appearance against Scotland.
He starts in place of Ryan Baird, while Henshaw comes in to replace Garry Ringrose, with both players dropping to the bench.
Mack Hansen and Finlay Bealham, meanwhile, have both been passed fit to retain their places in the line-up.
"We have been thinking about [bringing in O'Mahony] for a couple of weeks," said interim head coach Simon Easterby.
"Certainly, after the England performance, we felt like it was a good chance to bring Pete in and bring his experience to the table and keep Bairdo [Ryan Baird] involved off the bench.
"He [O'Mahony] has that ability, doesn't he, to play big when it's needed. I think what he does do when he plays against sides like Scotland is he plays right on the edge, he's confrontational.
"He leads by example; other players will certainly follow that example, and he brings the type of experience that takes time and caps to build the know-how and knowledge."
Elsewhere, France made just two changes to their starting XV to face England on Saturday. Matthieu Jalibert replaces the suspended Romain Ntamack after his sending-off, with Damian Peraud also coming in.
