Tottenham have completed the signing of Sweden international Hanna Wijk on a long-term contract from Hacken.

Wijk, whose move to north London is subject to international clearance and gaining a work permit, becomes Spurs' second signing of the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been with Hacken since 2020 and has made 124 appearances in all competitions for the club.

She featured 25 times in the Damallsvenskan last season as Hacken won the league title for just the second time in their history.

"It feels great to be here. I got goosebumps when I put on the shirt," Wijk said. "It has always been my dream to move abroad from Sweden and play in this league.

"I love the league and I watched it a lot from home, so I'm really looking forward to playing here in England, and also for Spurs."

Wijk joins a Tottenham side who sit fifth in the Women's Super League table after taking 20 points from their opening 11 games of the 2025-26 campaign.

Martin Ho's side are unbeaten in their last three league games, and face Leicester City upon their return to domestic action on January 11.

"Hanna was in demand across the market, and we are very pleased that she decided Tottenham Hotspur was the right club for the next stage of her career," Ho added.

"Her choice speaks to the ambition of the project and the clarity of the pathway we are offering, and we are confident she will grow with us while helping raise the competitive standards of the group."

Spurs are also reportedly keen to sign Wijk's Hacken team-mate Matilda Nilden, while they are also exploring the possibility of taking Maika Hamano on loan from rivals Chelsea.
