Frank adamant Van de Ven will remain at Spurs
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank insists Micky van de Ven will not leave the club this summer amid growing transfer rumours.
Van de Ven has featured in 30 games for Spurs this season and scored six goals, the best single-season goal return in his professional career.
Although Spurs are doing well in the Champions League, sitting fifth in the league phase with one game to go, their Premier League form has suffered.
Frank’s side are 14th in the English top flight, only 10 points above the relegation zone, after they finished 17th last season.
Spurs are hoping to snap a four-game winless run in the league when they take on Burnley this Saturday, and Frank is not worried about Van de Ven ahead of the fixture.
"I just saw Micky today, he seemed very happy, smiling,” said Frank.

"He was very happy after the game that we won [against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday] when he was in the changing room after the game.
"I think Micky is an excellent player. I think he's a fantastic ambassador for this club. I think he has potentially his best season so far.
“He's fit, he's strong, good defensively, he's growing as a leader, scoring goals as well.
"He's a very important player for us this season and for the future."
And when asked if a figure of £100m would force the club to consider Van de Ven's future, Frank added: “I would say he's very important for us, so Micky is a Tottenham player now and for the future.”
Spurs are unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League away games against promoted sides (W11 D2) since a 3-1 loss at Leeds in May 2021.
Burnley, meanwhile, have lost six of their last seven Premier League games against Spurs, including each of the last four in a row since a 1-0 home win in February 2022.
