France star Cascarino joins London City Lionesses
France star Delphine Cascarino has signed for the London City Lionesses on a three-and-a-half-year contract after leaving the San Diego Wave.
Cascarino, who has represented Les Bleues on 86 occasions, played for Lyon between 2015 and 2024, winning nine Premiere Ligue titles and six Women's Champions League crowns.
The forward then scored seven goals in 34 appearances in the National Women's Soccer League before terminating her deal with San Diego on Sunday.
Her former club said that decision was made after Cascarino expressed a desire to move back to Europe, and she will now link up with Eder Maestre's Lionesses side.

Cascarino said: "England – for both men and women – is the country of football. It's always been a goal of mine to play in this league.
"I want to play in the Champions League here at London City and win many trophies."
The Lionesses sit seventh in the Women's Super League table 12 games into their debut campaign in the competition, only seven points adrift of the top three.
