Former England captain Owen Farrell will be available to play for the national team once again after rejoining Saracens.

Farrell has signed a two-year deal with his boyhood club, just one year after leaving to join Racing 92.

He had previously spent 16 years at Saracens, making 256 appearances for the side, helping them to win six Premiership titles and three European Champions Cups.

And his move back to London means he is now eligible for England, for whom he made 112 appearances. He also won six Test caps for the British and Irish Lions.

"Saracens is my home and the opportunity to come back is one that excites me enormously," Farrell told the club's official website.

"Having watched from afar this season, it is clear to see that the club has incredible potential, and I can't wait to get back in the mix for the 2025-26 season."

His return means he is available for England's upcoming tour to Argentina, should he wish to do so.

Farrell was available to be called up for the Lions while at Racing, but was left out of the squad by his father Andy.

He could, however, still make the squad if he is needed as injury cover.
