Dream top scorer Gray out for Game 2 of WNBA semi-finals
The Atlanta Dream will be without leading scorer Allisha Gray due to a left finger injury when they go for a 2-0 lead over the New York Liberty in the WNBA semi-finals on Wednesday.
Gray, who set a career high with 19 points per game during the regular season, was injured in the first quarter of the fourth-seeded Dream’s series-opening 92-82 victory over No. 8 seed New York on Sunday.
The four-time All-Star tried to play through it but left for good with 3:44 remaining in the first half.
She is considered day-to-day.
DeWanna Bonner had 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench in Game 1, and the 39-year-old could replace Gray in the starting line-up Wednesday.
