Dias: Man City are expected to win
Ruben Dias knows that Manchester City are expected to win titles, as he promised to hand Arsenal a fierce fight for the Premier League crown.
Man City head into Christmas sitting in second place, just two points behind the Gunners.
Arsenal are still the big favourites to win the title, though, according to Opta's supercomputer, which rates the Gunners' chances at 68.6%.
City, meanwhile, have a 24.7% win probability, while third-place Aston Villa are given a 5.3% chance of claiming the title. Pep Guardiola's team temporarily went first on Saturday after they dispatched West Ham 3-0, before Arsenal then beat Everton later on.
"I knew the pressure of joining this club when I joined," said centre-back Dias in an interview with the Daily Mail.
"When you sign and play for Manchester City, you are expected to win football matches and win trophies. It’s as simple as that.
"I’m proud to have contributed to the many trophies we have won in recent years, but I also know it’s never enough. We have to keep winning."
With just one game left to play before Christmas, here is the Premier League table.

Dias has won four Premier League titles with City, as well as helping them to Champions League glory in 2023.
"Last year showed that if you are not at the level then you won’t be close," he said.
"We’ve got to be close this year and keep fighting as we have in recent weeks."
City take on Nottingham Forest and Sunderland away from home in their next two fixtures.
