Alex De Minaur booked his spot in the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships final with a comfortable victory over Adrian Mannarino.

The second seed won 6-4 6-0 in an hour and 21 minutes, and will go up against either Daniil Medvedev or Kamil Majchrzak for the trophy on Sunday.

De Minaur initially struggled, falling 3-0 behind in the first set after Mannarino broke the Australian's serve.

However, De Minaur responded well, converting three consecutive break points, though losing another service game of his own, to clinch the first.

And the world number six did not look back from there, this time taking a 3-0 lead of his own in the second set to pile the pressure on Mannarino.

The Frenchman did his best to try and get on the board, saving three break points in the fifth game, but could not deny De Minaur at the fourth time of asking, with the latter then sealing victory with his second match point a game later.

More Dutch delight for De Minaur

De Minaur has already enjoyed some success in the Netherlands this season, having won in Rotterdam back in February.

The 27-year-old has largely struggled since, with his only other semi-final appearance, prior to this tournament, coming in Hamburg just before the French Open.

Nevertheless, De Minaur is gaining momentum at the right time, with Wimbledon following his Queen's campaign next week, which starts with a clash against Gabriel Diallo.

But he has one last test to come at Rosmalen, which will be his 21st ATP Tour-level final, while he has reached the showpiece without dropping a set.

He fired in five aces against Mannarino, who won just 38% (16/42) of his first-serve points to De Minaur's 73% (22/30) in the semi-final.
