Nathaniel Clyne has left Crystal Palace following the expiration of his contract this summer.

Clyne, an academy graduate from Palace, returned for a second stint with the Eagles in 2020-21, joining as a free agent from Liverpool.

The right-back lost the finals of the Champions League, Europa League and EFL Cup during his time at Anfield, but managed to make history following his return to Selhurst Park.

Palace won their first-ever major trophy in 2024-25 after defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup.

The Eagles then won the Community Shield, beating Liverpool on penalties, before securing European glory in the Conference League last season.

Clyne made 252 appearances across his two spells with Palace, and described the past few seasons as "some of the best days of my life".

"The last few seasons have given me some of the best days of my life," he told Palace TV.

"I'm proud of these achievements, proud of myself and the football club.

"When I started at Crystal Palace, we were in the Championship. Now the club is playing European football, having nights like we did in Leipzig.

"I’m just so happy that I’ve been a part of that; it's meant so much to me and my family.
