Chelsea 3-0 AC Milan: Joao Pedro doubles up as Caicedo scores stunner
Joao Pedro scored twice, and Moises Caicedo netted a stunner as Chelsea dispatched AC Milan 3-0 in Jakarta.
A makeshift Milan team were no match for a rampant Chelsea at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, where the Blues dominated.
Joao Pedro had the first chance in the 13th minute, but he was denied by Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani.
Luka Modric skewed wide on the volley soon after, before Danny Welbeck and Pedro Neto went close at the other end.
Chelsea got their breakthrough in first-half stoppage time, with Joao Pedro heading home from Caicedo's inswinging corner.
Joao Pedro then doubled up a minute into the second half, nudging in from Neto's teasing cross.

Caicedo added the cherry to the cake four minutes later, sensationally converting with an outside-of-the-boot volley from the edge of Milan's box.
Nicolas Jackson could have applied further gloss late on, but he hit the post when one-on-one with Torriani.
Joao Pedro powers up as Chelsea click into gear
Chelsea are also in action on Sunday, facing Johor Darul Ta'zim, but Xabi Alonso went with a strong team for this contest, as the Blues gear up for 2026-27.
New signing Welbeck led the line, with Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer dovetailing behind him in a 3-4-3 system.
Joao Pedro led the match for shots (four), shots on target (three) and touches in the opposition box (10).
Marco Palestra, meanwhile, impressed at left wing-back, creating a game-high three chances.
The expected goals (xG) tally paints a clear picture, too, with Chelsea registering 2.17 to Milan's 0.28, with Ruben Amorim's team failing to have a shot on target.
