The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without star forward Evan Mobley for one-to-three weeks after the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year strained his left calf in Monday’s victory over the Orlando Magic.
Mobley has appeared in 42 of 48 contests for the Cavaliers (28-20) this season and leads the team in rebounding (8.8) while ranking third with 17.9 points and a career-high 4.0 assists per game.
The fifth-year pro is fourth in the NBA with a personal-best 1.95 blocks per game.
The Cavaliers, who entered Tuesday’s action in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, have won a season-high-tying four straight contests and six of their last seven games overall.
