Bournemouth cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday, stretching their unbeaten streak in the Premier League to a record 15 matches.

The Cherries started strongly at Vitality Stadium, with Evanilson's glancing header deflecting off former Bournemouth defender Jefferson Lerma and looping over the line after 10 minutes, despite Dean Henderson's best efforts to parry it away.

Some hapless Palace defending then opened the door for Bournemouth to double their lead as Junior Kroupi struck from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute. Henderson, scrambling to recover a loose ball, had brought down Marcos Senesi inside the box.

Palace showed brief signs of improvement in the second half, with Jorgen Strand Larsen skewing wide and Ismaila Sarr asking some questions of the Cherries' defence, but it was not to be for the Eagles.

After half-chances at both ends, Rayan sealed the result with a third goal in the 77th minute, striking sweetly past Henderson to secure three vital points and keep Bournemouth in the hunt for European qualification.

Ismaila Sarr was then denied a late consolation goal by the woodwork in the closing stages – his first-time strike off Adam Wharton's floated cross clipped the foot of the post.

Data Debrief: Cherries extend stellar unbeaten run

Bournemouth are now undefeated in their last 15 games in the Premier League – marking the longest active streak of any side in the league, and the Cherries' longest-ever in the top flight.

Indeed, they had teenagers Kroupi and Rayan to thank for this victory. Owing to the duo's strong recent form, Bournemouth are the first side ever to have two teenagers score in back-to-back Premier League matches.

No teenager in the history of the Premier League has scored more goals in their debut season than Kroupi's 12.

Palace, meanwhile, failed to take a single shot in the first half of this match – their first time failing to do so in a Premier League game since August 2021 against Chelsea.

Andoni Iraola's side were full value for the win in the end, registering 2.29 expected goals (xG), to Palace's meagre 0.78 xG.
