The Mumbai Indians went top of the Indian Premier League table after a 100-run win over the Rajasthan Royals, as teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a day to forget.
Three days after his record-breaking display against the Gujarat Titans, Suryavanshi was dismissed for a two-ball duck as the Royals' batting order was dismantled on Thursday.
Ryan Rickelton (61) and Rohit Sharma (53) laid the foundations for Mumbai, with the former eventually falling to Maheesh Theekshana (1-47) in the 12th over of the contest.
Rohit followed shortly after, but with just over seven overs left, Suryakumar Yadav continued his team's good work with the bat, plundering 48 runs from just 23 deliveries.
Yadav was backed up by an equally impressive knock from Hardik Pandya (48 not out), who struck six fours and one maximum during his 40-minute spell at the crease.
Mumbai ended their innings with a total of 217-2, and wasted little time in confirming their seventh IPL win of the season with the ball in hand.
Suryavanshi was dismissed in the first over by Deepak Chahar (1-13) before Yashasvi Jaiswal (13) and Nitish Rana (nine) fell in quick succession to Trent Boult (3-28).
Jasprit Bumrah then picked up the wickets of Riyan Parag (16) and Shimron Hetmyer (0) in back-to-back balls as Rajasthan's middle order continued to tumble.
An unlikely 30 from Jofra Archer saw him top score for the Royals, but they were unable to recover from their troubles with the bat as they fell short of their target at 117.
While Mumbai are riding high in this season's IPL, Rajasthan's eighth defeat of the campaign leaves them down in eighth, and could still yet drop further down the standings.

Data Debrief: Mumbai end Jaipur hoodoo to go six for six
Mumbai arrived at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium without a win there since 2012, but put on a fine display that saw them record the joint-highest total at the ground in the IPL, equalling Sunrisers Hyderabad's total in 2023.
While Rickelton and Sharma will receive plaudits for their batting performance, Yadav showcased his consistency at the crease again. His knock saw him set an IPL record after notching his 11th consecutive score of 25 runs or more.
The result also saw Mumbai extend their winning run to six matches, equalling their longest winning streak in the IPL.
