Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will play no part in this year's Six Nations after undergoing shoulder surgery.

The England wing suffered a dislocated shoulder during Exeter Chiefs' defeat by Sale Sharks on December 21.

Feyi-Waboso initially opted against surgery, with Steve Borthwick hoping he would return before the end of the Six Nations.

However, it is understood the 22-year-old eventually went under the knife on Wednesday after his shoulder did not respond well to rehabilitation.

Feyi-Waboso was nominated as World Rugby's breakthrough player of 2024, after scoring five tries in his first eight Tests,

England, who edged France last time out, resume their Six Nations campaign on Saturday when they welcome Scotland to Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
